Herm Edwards Football Camp

Herm Edwards himself.

There was a large turnout for the annual free event. Here's a pic with all of the together. Ages 9-17 were allowed to participate.

.

Miles had a great time meeting new kids. He makes friends easily with anyone. He was one of the youngest kids out there, but it didn't slow him down one bit.

It was a great day for all!!!

CLEAR WATER BEACH!!! Our first day at the beach was shortened by a HUGE storm cloud approaching.

Luckily we were able to get a bit of beach fun in before the rain...

Getting some quality time with Mom-Mom...

The boys love the water, but we had to get outta there before the thunder and lightening arrived.

Universal Studios

.

We went to Universal Studios park for a day. It was hot (as usual) but we toughed it out. Roman had a ball in the Dr. Seuss area. While Miles was finally tall enough to ride ANY ride in the park.

Roman did a lil' Surfing..

.Miles, Mark, and Roman hung out with Popeye and Olive Oyl.
The BIG attraction this year was the opening of Harry Potter's HOGWARTS. The Castle was huge and the boys loved seeing the neat Harry Potter Theme'd area..

Summer Vacation in Tampa Fl.

The wonders of Clearwater Beach Fl.

On Saturday we couldn't resist a revisit of Clearwater beach. The sand and ocean were very relaxing. However, with Roman and Miles playing in the water there wasn't too much time to relax.

.

We wrote our names in the sand.

We took a walk along the boardwalk of the Pier.

Then we ended the day with a breathtaking sunset.

Presidents Cup 2009

The 2009 Presidents Cup

I went into work and a friend and co-worker just happened to have a spare ticket for the Tuesday practice round of the 2009 Presidents Cup held at Harding Park Municipal Golf Course, in San Francisco. I took my lunch break hoping to get a glimpse of the tourney's big players such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Vijay Singh. It turned out that I got to see much much more. The day was gorgeous. No fog, no wind, and it was unseasonably warm. Perfect golf weather.

......

The course was in great condition, and everything looked amazing. There was plenty of fun distractions to pass the time away like Tiger Woods Wii Golf, Food, and shopping, but I wanted to see who was on the course.

The International Group was the first one I stumbled upon. Big Ernie Els and Vijay Singh leading the charge.

Checking out the public area.

Harding Golf Course's 15th.

The Golf Channel set up for their broadcast overlooking the 15th fairway.

With a little running I was able to catch up to the U.S. team on the 15th hole.

Coming around the narrow walkway strip of the 15th hole.

Tiger was the shortest of all the drives. This is his second shot.

Michael Jordan giving Sean O'Hair a bear hug. on the 15th fairway.

After their 2nd shot from the fairway.

Here they are finishing up the 15th.

Presidents Cup 2009

I ran ahead to get prime location for the 16th tee.

The approach to the 16th tee! Fred Couples, Michael Jordan, and Tiger Woods.

Is MJ trying to sneak a club away from someone? I think he really wants to play.

Fred Couples and Tiger discuss a strategy, or maybe just where to spend happy hour!!!

Tiger preparing to tee up.

Check out the form.

Off to the 16th fairway.

I didn't follow the group for the rest of the 16th or the 17th. I took the opportunity to check out the Captain's Club Hospitality area. The food was pretty good, but way over priced.

Even for a practice round this group had a great deal of attention. This is on the 18th fairway. Looking from the deck of the Captains Club area.

Last hole of the day.

Here they are finishing up the round at #18
