THERE'S MAGIC IN THE AIR

Day 3 started out bright and early for us. Taking it easy the day before helped up get a good jump for us as we travel to THE park within the Disney World family. THE MAGIC KINGDOM.

We took the ferry from the transportation hub over to the gates of the Park. It's a great alternative to the monorail. It's very scenic and the boys love the boat ride. They got a little taste of what Daddy does on his commute to the
city.

Once across the lake we started into the park. With the SISTERS leading the way we were sure to get to our first attraction. (they were lost 10 mins later).

Miles found a horse pulling a carriage. Thinking it'd be fun to take a picture next to him Miles walked right up to the horse and stood too close. While standing so close the Horse got a little spooked and took a step. RIGHT on Miles foot!!! Not a good start...

The entrance to Main Street is gorgeous. A perfect view of the Magic Castle. It's way more fancy than the one in Disneyland.

Star Tours

Before we could leave the park for the day we HAD to visit the STAR TOURS ride. Since it was a Star Wars Weekend we thought a ride on Star Tours would be fun. Miles Kennedy Mason and Maurice joined me on the ride. The kids didn't know what to expect, so it was fun to see their reaction to the ride. It Blasted us into deep space. We were on a space station and a crazy droid flew us all over the galaxy because he was lost. Maybe R2D2 would've been a better driver.

While in line the boys took out a land cycle out for a quick spin through the forest.

THE TOWER OF TERROR!!!

By far THE SCARIEST RIDE in the park would have to be

The Tower of Terror!!!

It's a Simple ride that has only ONE purpose. To make you loose your stomach. You're trapped in an elevator inside a Old Haunted hotel and this elevator ride may be your last!!!

Kennedy was ready to ride. Miles has been on the same ride in Disneyland last summer. You sit in a chair on the elevator and HOLD ON!!! It shoots you straight up into the air to the top floor then instantly drops you back down into the basement. And, it does this over and over... Scary, but great fun. Kennedy enjoyed it. Miles enjoyed it more this time than he did last year.

DisneyWorld HOLLYWOOD

Day two started a little slower than day one. We were all so tired from the day before that we didn't out as early. We decided that Disney Hollywood was on the day's agenda. We finally reached the park at around 10am.

.
As we were walking through the park it didn't take long to realize that WORK has followed me to Florida. As luck would have it they were having a Star Wars weekend. They devoted parts of the park to all things Star Wars. We lucked up and has our picture taken with two mean looking Clone Stormtroopers.
.
They threatened to take somthing from Mason. I don't think Kennedy was too amused at their antics.

.
Roman waiting his turn in line. Mike Wozowski and James Sully were a little late.

.
I think Miles and Mason were getting a little bored too!!!

Finally they showed up... They said that there was a problem on the Scare (I mean Laugh) Floor. They were kind enough to make us honorary part of the LAUGH team.

The End of a long Day #1

. . .....

. .

Mexico was t..he last province we visited today. It's late and theres no way to get through the park in half a day. (what were we thinking)... By this time it's around 10pm and we're all exhausted..

What day could be complete without FIREWORKS!?!?!? So, even though we were all soooooo exhausted we decided to stay for the festivities. The boys were glazed and filled with wonder while watching the fabulous display.

... .

.

WHEW, WHAT A DAY!!!

More Epcot!!!

While in Epcot the boys participated in the KIDCOT craft adventure spots. In each area of Epcot there were activity spots where the kids could create crafts to remember their trip in the park.
This was in the Canada province of Epcot.

The 4:30 pm Rainfall was right on schedule. As we soon found out during our trip. It seems that every afternoon we were guaranteed a tropical rainstorm.

However, we didn't let a little rain spoil our day we decided to have fun anyway.

Roman wanted to give mommy a little drink.

Miles was trying on a new hat!!! In Cairo it's FEZ-tastic!!!

After a lil' detour we made our way through Philadelphia then on to Venice!!! Italy has never been so easy to get to.

It only took us a brief 5 mins to travel from Italy to Bavaria.

We then explored China.

The boys spent some time trying on Chinese costumes and trying some juggling .

Lunch with the Characters

While at Epcot we had Lunch at the Garden Cafe. We had reservations to eat with the Disney Crew. Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto stopped by and said hello while we enjoyed a great meal.

Miles and Kennedy bumped elbows with Dale.Chip was feeling left out so he came over for a bit too.
Roman and Mickey got up close and personal.

Day one in the land of Disney...

EPCOT CENTER

Day one we decided to go to Epcot since it seemed like the smallest park to go through. Since we had park hopper passes we wanted to start the day with Epcot then head over to Magic Kingdom. Needless to say the Orlando humidity was next to unbearable. However, we braved through the heat to have fun. Epcot has grown quite a bit since I was last there in 96'. It didn't seem as inviting to younger kids, I was wrong. It had plenty for the younger children to do.

One of the most entertaining rides was the Finding Nemo attraction. It's a simple ride that takes you into the world under the sea. This ride was the Orlando equivalent to the DisneyLAND Submarine Nemo ride we rode last year. There were great displays for us to get up close and peronal with the characters of Finding Nemo. Bruce was even kind enough to let the boys hop into his mouth...
